My name is Corbin. I have always had an admiration, an affinity, and many times an empathy for animals and after being certified as a licensed massage therapist (for humans) in the State of Hawaii, decided to investigate the possibilities of massage for pets.
With a readily access able resource of animals to practice on and an awareness that a dogs body is structured and functions much like a human body, I started to apply massage techniques upon my dog, Tsaile and the many other dogs made available through friends and family. I was so impressed by consist ant and remarkable results for the dogs as well as for myself I decided to focus my massage services toward animals.
Throughout the years my pets have included cats, birds, even reptiles and always a dog or two. Today I have a three birds and a dog. I am always finding new benefits and rewards of massage for dogs, or pets in general (my cockatiel for one), and will pass them on to you as time an space allows. Though I focus on dogs, I am also be available to do what I can to toward to the health and welfare of all animals that would benefit from a hands-on therapeutic encounter.

This
is Tsaile. I noticed her while visiting on the Navajo Indian
Reservation ("Four Corners") in Arizona,
just as the
winter season of 1999 was beginning. She was one
of a pack of homeless dogs
struggling
to survive on
the
Navajo
desert. Commonly known as
'Rezdogs', these homeless scavengers were half starved and
living on the scraps of discarded human food,
snow for hydration, and whatever else they could find or hunt down for sustenance. Her nature was so different that I
found it to be compelling enough to invite her to come home with
me, to Los Angeles.
That was on Thanksgiving Day five and
a
half
years
ago and we have been
almost inseparable ever since. It is now over five years and 3,000
miles away, from the Rez, I have never regretted, even for a second, the day that bush dog
came into my
life.
She
gets along with most other dogs, loves all people, and has a very
special adoration for kids (and they for her). Of course I
could go on and on about Tsaile, but that's it for now. Since
I have started massaging her, our bonding has become remarkably stronger. We
have become a team and it is seldom that we are not together.
I hope that you
get to meet her someday.
